Wenger answers man’s question of life - cup size preference

Wenger answers man’s question of life - cup size preference

FA Cup 5th round against Blackburn this afternoon. There are still questions regarding team selection and squad rotation. If I were the manager I would be tempted to rest some players and rotate the squad. We have a number of players who have come back from injury or have something to prove. We also have some players who should be hungry to impress to push their way into the first team. Rosicky and Diaby I believe are fit to play, there is also Arshavin but I doubt he will even find himself on the bench.

The CL match on Tuesday gives the manager a headache over which cup size he prefers, does he go for the smaller but more liftable, or for the cup that will be more than a hand full and possibly a waste? Decisions, decisions...

With the back five picking itself due to injury and suspension, the rotation will come in the midfield and upfront.

I would like Rosicky to play, he could come in for Santi and could be paired up with Arteta and Diaby/Ramsey. Our front three will probably include Gervinho as he should be back and rested after the Africa cup of nations. Perhaps playing on the left or up front. But it might be a good opportunity to play Gervinho, Podolski and Walcott. If they can play with discipline they could interchange and make an effective striking/ crossing/ scoring threesome.

Whatever the line up is, i’m sure we have what it takes to overcome Blackburn.

We have had a week of rest for the players and a week without football for the fans, so I hope the players and crowd are well up for the match and we run away with a glorious win.

Must dash, I have sausages cooking and need to be down the pub by 13:30.

COME ON YOU ARSENAL!!!!!
