The Mother Of All Quick Sunday Round Ups

A quick Sunday round up for you this evening. Sorry for the delay in the blog but with it being Mothers Day we've both been busy.

Everythings been quiet on the first team this week ahead of our all important Champions League game against Bayern on Wednesday. The lads must have got over their humazee induced nightmares by now and have been working hard on the training ground preparing up for this massive Champions League showdown. More on that in the coming days.

In other news its being rumoured that Wenger has flown over to France in his giant red helicopter, all Annika Rice style, to capture another French starlet and possibly help paint a school. The 20 year old, 6 foot 3, striker Yaya Sanogo. He doesn't want to play for Auxerre any more and this has alert Arsenal to his free transfer at the end of the season. I know nothing of the player but we have a few strikers off in the summer so we will probably be actively seeking some fresh blood.

He's French, plays up front and nobody has heard of him so he certainly looks likely to be with us next season. Whether his signing would kill Joel Campbell and he is the player of super super quality we've been looking for I'll leave up to you to decide.

There's a few more stories doing the rounds but with the state of the arsenal team at the moment its easy to link us to anybody in any position and I don't want to tire your eyes out with too much rumour.

Special mention goes out to the Liverpool Reds today. A fantastic performance saw them beat the under evolved of North London 3-2. Certainly takes the wind out of their tattered sails and shows, although there is a gap for us to bridge, its not too big and the teams above us will drop points between now and the end of the season. We have to be ready like a pack of snarling dogs and chase them down and capitalise at every opportunity.

Smurs and the chavs are still in the Thursday Europa pro am Cup so hopefully a few extra games and a few more slips and we could be right on top of them and away before they know it. Heres hoping anyway.

That's your lot for today.

Hope everyone had a good one and back tomorrow with more things arsenal.

COME ON YOU GUNNERS!
